AMSTERDAM: Van Dik Hout will give a concert in AFAS Live in Amsterdam on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The band already celebrated the 30th anniversary of their best-known hit ‘Stil In Mij’ in a sold-out AFAS Live last year in grand fashion. The success and pleasure of that show now leads to a second edition of ‘Van Dik Hout & Friends’. Once again the band has invited several musician friends to play along. 

Singer Martin Buitenhuis on the announcement of the concert in AFAS Live: "We find it very special to be able to give another concert in AFAS Live. Last time was such a big party, we can't wait to do it again. Besides all the hits that are coming up, we are going to invite several musical friends, who they are we are keeping a surprise for now. What I can tell you is that we are also releasing our new single ‘Alleen Maar Jou’ today, which together with the announcement of our concert makes it a double celebration."

Van Dik Hout broke through in May 1994 with Nederpop classic ‘Stil In Mij’, which has since also become a Top 2000 classic. The band went on to score hits such as “Alles Of Niets,” “Meer Dan Een Ander,” “Tot Jij Mijn Liefde voel” and "Op De Golven Dansen Wij. Together with Acda and de Munnik, songs like ‘Mijn Houten Hart’ and ‘Zij maakt Het Verschil’ became big hits with occasional group De Poema's. In January of this year they released the official Vrienden Van Amstel theme song ‘Op Jou Heb Ik Gewacht’ together with Snelle. The new single ‘Alleen Maar Jou’ is available to listen to on all streaming platforms as of today.
