  • Crowd management analysis: Some of our apps use crowd management software to monitor the number of people at a specific location (e.g., stage or bar areas). Your Rights

As a global company, our fans are located all over the world. Depending on your market, specific laws and regulations regarding privacy rights may apply, such as the GDPR in Europe, LGPD in Brazil, and CCPA in the United States. The following rights may apply in your market.

Global Rights (excluding the United States of America)

  • The right to request that your information be deleted, also known as erasure, or that its further use be restricted. The right to delete your account cannot be exercised if you have a ticket or transaction for a future event. Deleting your account will result in the loss of access to any digital assets (e.g., NFTs) you own.
  • The right to request a copy of the information we have about you, also known as the right of access.
  • The right to correct, modify, or update the data you have provided to us (if you have an account with us, you can also do this by logging in and updating your information).
  • The right to challenge any automated decision we make about you. An automated decision is one made without any human intervention and which has legal consequences (e.g., a credit check). We generally do not carry out automated decision-making, but if we do, we will be clear about when such decisions are made.

You may appoint an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. To consider an agent as verified, you must provide the agent with a signed, written statement authorizing them to make such requests. We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the agent's request. If you are an authorized agent submitting a request on behalf of someone else, please use our Authorized Agent Request Form. Failure to follow these instructions may result in us being unable to process a request. Please note that while we will carefully consider every request we receive, your rights and the time frame for exercising a right may vary depending on your location, and we may not always be required to comply with a request. When this occurs, we will explain why.

WE TREAT YOUR DATA WITH THE UTMOST CARE

We have implemented security measures to protect your information. The security measures we use depend on the type of information collected. If you believe an unauthorized account has been created in your name, please contact us. We are not responsible for third-party websites and apps. If you click on a third-party link, you will be taken to websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to the processing of personal data on those websites. Carefully read the privacy policies of other websites. Our site may also display content from third parties that contain their own cookies or tracking technologies.

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide you with the requested services, for the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, and for any legal purposes for which we are required to retain your data. For example, we retain certain purchase information for accounting and tax purposes even after you delete your account. Our retention rules depend on whether the information is necessary to deliver the product or service, the consents given regarding personal information usage, and the legal, contractual, or other obligations we have to retain personal information.

We will securely delete your information when it is no longer needed for these purposes, in accordance with our company policies.

Data Transfers

As part of a global group of companies headquartered in the United States, we may need to transfer your information outside the country where you reside. This occurs when:

  • We rely on shared services within the Live Nation group of companies (such as IT, compliance, and internal audits). For example, our global platform is primarily designed and maintained from the United States and the United Kingdom.
  • When world-class artists are on tour, your information may be transferred internationally to provide you with a seamless experience if the artist is not based in your country.
  • We use global service providers, as mentioned above.

If your data is transferred in this way, strict rules are in place to ensure your data is still protected to a high standard. If we do this, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place. When your information is transferred outside your local market, we use contractual measures and internal mechanisms requiring the recipient to adhere to the privacy standards of the exporter. We will use one of the following mechanisms:

  • Contractual clauses, such as the model contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and other regulatory authorities, if applicable.
  • Binding corporate rules.
  • Binding corporate rules for processors.
