With a show at AFAS Live on June 27, 2027, one of the biggest British pop groups of all time will also bring their fourteenth tour, which travels across Europe, to the Netherlands. The show by Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen will celebrate the upcoming release of their tenth album Dreamers, which is due at the end of 2026. Alongside songs from their new album, there will also be plenty of room for the group’s extensive catalogue of hits, which has made them one of the most successful acts in British chart history. With more than 45 million records sold worldwide, nine number one albums and no fewer than 12 number one hits in the UK alone, the setlist is packed with classics, from ‘Back For Good’ to ‘Rule The World’ and many more.

Gold and platinum

Take That were formed as a five-piece in 1990 and enjoyed immediate success: their first two albums reached number two and number one in the charts respectively. Their third album, Nobody Else, confirmed their global impact, selling more than six million copies and topping the charts in eleven countries. The departure of band member Robbie Williams led to the group splitting up in 1996. The remaining four members reunited for The Ultimate Tour in 2005. This marked the beginning of one of the biggest comebacks in British music history, with Take That releasing three number one albums in just four years. Robbie’s return for Progress in 2011 saw them break British records for the fastest-selling album of the 21st century and the fastest-selling tour of all time.

Following Williams’ second departure, along with that of Jason Orange, the remaining three members released III and Wonderland, which achieved platinum and gold status respectively.

Dreamers

The band celebrated their thirtieth anniversary in 2018 with the release of Odyssey, featuring new versions of some of their biggest hits from a career spanning three decades. The album entered the charts at number one and was followed in 2019 by a critically acclaimed tour of stadiums and arenas across the UK and Europe. With the release of their ninth studio album This Life in 2023, the band scored their ninth number one album and the best-selling album by a British artist that year, selling more copies than the entire Top 25 combined. In April 2024, Take That headed out on tour again with their large-scale This Life On Tour. More than 700,000 tickets were sold for the 41 shows across 15 cities in the UK, making it the best-selling tour by a British artist that year. 2026 has so far been another top year for the band, with the release of a number one streamed Netflix documentary, the completion of their stadium tour The Circus Live, which sold more than 736,000 tickets across 17 concerts, and the release of their tenth studio album Dreamers later this year.
