After a first and immediately sold-out headliner show at 013 in 2025, Spiritbox is ready for their biggest Dutch headline show to date. The year before, the band had already taken the stage at AFAS Live as support for the sold-out shows of Korn and Architects.

Since their formation, Spiritbox have rapidly evolved into one of the most influential and forward-thinking acts in the modern metal scene. Blending metalcore, progressive metal, and atmospheric electronic elements, the band appeals to both heavy music fans and a broader audience. Their sound is defined by the dynamic contrast between Courtney LaPlante’s powerful screams and soaring clean vocals, combined with technical riffs and layered production.

Following a series of early singles and EPs, Spiritbox achieved worldwide breakthrough success with their 2021 debut album Eternal Blue, which was both commercially successful and critically acclaimed. The momentum continued with the 2023 EP The Fear of Fear, featuring the single “Jaded,” which earned the band their first Grammy nomination in the Best Metal Performance category. They maintained this recognition with subsequent nominations for “Cellar Door” and “Soft Spine,” marking three consecutive years of Grammy nominations. At the 2026 Grammy Awards, Spiritbox performed “Soft Spine” during the Premiere Ceremony—an intense performance that underscored their growing international stature.

In 2025, Spiritbox released their second studio album, Tsunami Sea, further solidifying their position within the global metal scene while refining their distinctive sound. Beyond their studio work, the band has built a strong live reputation through international tours, major festival appearances, and collaborations across genres, including a notable remix with Megan Thee Stallion. Through their continuous artistic evolution and their ability to combine heaviness with emotional depth and accessibility, Spiritbox are widely regarded as one of the leading representatives of a new generation of metal bands actively reshaping the genre.
