Paul Simon

Paul Simon has announced that he will continue his A Quiet Celebration tour. The announcement follows a highly successful and critically acclaimed run across the United States. This tour will bring the intimate concert series to Europe, the United Kingdom and Ireland in the spring of 2026.

The show opens with a performance of the Grammy-nominated masterpiece Seven Psalms. This beautiful 33-minute piece was praised worldwide by the press. The Guardian called it “a masterful suite,” and The Times of London described it as “a remarkable album.” After a short break, the show continues with many of Simon’s classic hits and several rarely—or never—performed songs, all carefully rearranged especially for this tour.

Seven Psalms was recorded entirely with acoustic instruments and performed largely by Paul Simon himself. Simon often says that the listener completes the song, and he was determined to bring this experience to the stage by presenting this complex, layered work in intimate venues with perfect acoustics.

The European tour will kick off on April 9 in Prague, Czech Republic, and travel across Europe and the UK before wrapping up on May 20 in Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of: Mark Stewart (guitar), Bakithi Kumalo (bass), Steve Gadd (drums), Andy Snitzer (saxophone), Jamey Haddad (percussion), Mick Rossi (piano, keyboards), Gyan Riley (guitar), Nancy Stagnitta (flute), Caleb Burhans (viola) and Eugene Friesen (cello).
