JAMES TAYLOR
With his warm baritone voice and distinctive guitar style, James Taylor has been touching hearts around the world for more than fifty years. The American musician has set an example through his music that countless young artists aspire to follow. Over the course of his acclaimed career as a songwriter and performer, James Taylor has sold more than 100 million albums and received numerous gold, platinum, and multi-platinum awards since the release of his debut album in 1968. In 2015, he released Before This World, the very first #1 album of his remarkable career. Taylor has won multiple GRAMMY Awards, been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame, and was named MUSICARES Person of the Year by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in February 2006. In addition, he was appointed Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government and received the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama in 2012.
In November 2015, James Taylor was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States, and in December 2016, he received the Kennedy Center Honors, which are presented annually to individuals who have enriched American culture through outstanding contributions to the performing arts. In early 2020, he released Break Shot, a deeply personal and authentic audio memoir in which Taylor reflects on the first 21 years of his life. That same year, he also released his nineteenth studio album, American Standard, which earned him the 2021 GRAMMY Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. With this album, he became the first artist ever to achieve a Top 10 album on the Billboard charts in each of the past six decades.

Cups and bottles are recycled. Therefore, always return your empty cup or bottle to the bar when you get a new drink. The collected cups and bottles can be reused to create new cups and bottles. This system helps prevent unnecessary waste of resources and saves CO2 emissions.

Cashless Payment
At AFAS Live, you can only pay with your debit card or credit card. This is available at all bars and food stands in our venue. The advantage? You don’t need to withdraw cash in advance. You can make cashless payments using Maestro, VISA, or Mastercard.
