Crypton Future Media, INC. (headquartered in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan; CEO: Ito Hiroyuki) has announced a new concert tour with Hatsune Miku, titled “HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2026 EUROPE”. The tour will begin in November 2026 in London and will visit seven cities, including Brussels, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Paris, and on Sunday, November 15, the virtual singer will perform at AFAS Live in Amsterdam.

Tour theme: “Steampunk”!

HATSUNE MIKU EXPO (also known as MIKU EXPO) is a worldwide tour featuring the virtual singer “Hatsune Miku.” The series started with a performance in Jakarta in 2014. Since then, the tour has visited various regions, including North America, Europe, and Oceania. The tour concluded its very first Asian tour in November 2025, bringing the total number of performances in 50 cities worldwide to 120. In 2026, the twelfth year of the tour, “HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2026 North America” has already been announced, making the European tour the second tour of the year.

The theme for the European tour’s visual presentation is “Steampunk.” Illustrator Suzunosuke has created an original main visual for the tour. The visuals evoke nostalgia and combine a classic, refined theme with retro gadgets such as intricate gears.

What is Hatsune Miku?

Hatsune Miku is music software developed by Crypton Future Media, INC., which allows anyone to make their computer sing by inputting lyrics and melodies. Because a huge number of users created music with the software and shared their creations online, Hatsune Miku quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Since then, Hatsune Miku has gained significant attention as a character and has been involved in many areas, including merchandising and live performances as a virtual singer. Her popularity has now spread worldwide.

Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO are also virtual singers developed by Crypton Future Media, INC.
