Chase & Status have been a mainstay of British electronic music for more than two decades. The duo, made up of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status), have helped shape British dance culture since the start of their career. Their music brings together drum & bass, jungle, rave, soundsystem culture and UK rap, reaching audiences around the world.

Alongside their own productions, Chase & Status regularly collaborate with artists across genres and generations. They have worked with Stormzy, Kano, Giggs, J Hus, Little Simz and Wretch 32, among others, as well as international artists such as Skrillex.

Their new album, Generic Everything, will be released on 9 October 2026. The ten-track record centres on the idea of resisting an increasingly uniform creative landscape. Chase & Status collaborate on the album with J Hus, Little Simz, Skrillex, Giggs, D Double E, Blanco, IRAH, Col3trane, Debbie, Saam Sultan, Finesse Kid and Ledbyher, among others. The music moves between rave, rap, soundsystem culture and electronic music, reflecting the way Chase & Status connect different artists and styles.

Generic Everything follows a period of major success for Chase & Status. “Baddadan” spent more than 15 weeks in the UK Top 10 and earned a Platinum certification. “BACKBONE”, featuring Stormzy, became their first UK Number One single. They were also named British Producer of the Year at the BRIT Awards. Their music has now generated more than 2.5 billion streams worldwide.

Chase & Status have also remained active on major stages and at festivals in recent years. In 2026, they performed at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix in Silverstone, made a surprise B2B appearance with Skrillex at Boomtown, and headlined the Main Stage at Reading & Leeds. They also performed in the Netherlands last year, with shows at Skatecafe in Amsterdam and 013 in Tilburg.

Alongside their larger shows, Chase & Status continue to develop their club concept, SECTION 63. Through this live concept, they experiment with a different take on the traditional DJ show and tap into the energy of underground rave culture.

More than twenty years after the start of their career, Chase & Status continue to make new music and connect different scenes and artists. With Generic Everything, they continue that trajectory, once again bringing together different styles within British electronic music.
