Following the release of their new single Beaches In Tennessee last month, GRAMMY Award-winning rockers Cage The Elephant have announced a UK and European tour for 2027, including a performance at AFAS Live on 15 February. The band will also release their new single Dying In Reverse on Thursday, 10 September, the second track from their upcoming seventh studio album.

Cage The Elephant are coming off an impressive run across the United States as support for Oasis in 2025. Known for their electrifying live shows, the band will kick off the fifteen-date tour at Berlin’s Tempodrom on Monday, 8 February. The tour will conclude with a major show at London’s Alexandra Palace on Monday, 1 March.

These will be the band’s first shows in the UK and Europe since their successful 2025 tour, which included two sold-out nights at Brixton Academy. Speaking about the tour, Matt Shultz says: “We’re incredibly excited to return to Europe and the UK with this tour. Audiences there have always welcomed us with open arms, and we can’t wait to come back and play the new songs!”

The band returned last month with new single Beaches In Tennessee, created with producers Justin Raisen and SADPONY (Jeremiah Raisen). Their combined credits include Charli xcx, SZA, Kim Gordon, Lil Yachty, Yves Tumor and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The collaboration brought together two pairs of brothers, with Cage The Elephant members Matt and Brad Shultz working alongside Justin and Jeremiah Raisen from the earliest stages of the track. Rather than overproducing the song, the band followed the energy in the room, keeping the recording direct and raw.

Beaches In Tennessee arrived following a defining period for Cage The Elephant. After their run as special guests on Oasis Live ’25, the band headed straight back into the studio. More than twenty years after forming, they continue to find new urgency in the creative process and new ways to push the project forward. Alongside the single, the band also released a psychedelic music video directed by frontman Matt Shultz.

“The Oasis tour really reignited our fire to dream and keep dreaming,” says Matt Shultz. “I think we realised there’s still room to evolve and challenge ourselves, especially on stage. That tour only strengthened our passion and our desire to see this through. When it was over, we decided not to take a break. We went into the studio almost immediately to start making music.”

Since forming in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in 2006, Cage The Elephant have built one of the defining rock catalogues of their generation, driven by uncompromising creativity and powerful live performances. To date, the band have earned dozens of gold, platinum and multi-platinum certifications, amassed more than 6 billion streams, and scored thirteen No. 1 hits at Alternative Radio and seven No. 1 hits at Triple A Radio. They received their first GRAMMY® Award nomination for Melophobia [2013] before winning Best Rock Album for two consecutive albums, Tell Me I’m Pretty [2015] and Social Cues [2019]. They later received another nomination in the same category for Neon Pill [2024].

The six-piece from Kentucky instinctively draw on the close bond they share as both musicians and friends to take on whatever comes their way. Cage The Elephant consists of Matt Shultz (vocals), Brad Shultz (rhythm guitar), Nick Bockrath (lead guitar), Matthan Minster (keyboards, guitar and backing vocals), Daniel Tichenor (bass) and Jared Champion (drums).
