Bloc Party + Interpol
Bloc Party and Interpol announced their co-headline tour this morning, bringing together two of the most influential bands of the past three decades for 18 shows across the UK and Europe in 2026.
The tour kicks off on November 10 in Copenhagen and will continue through cities including Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam, before heading to the UK for multiple dates — concluding with two final nights at London’s Olympia on December 4 and 5.
Throughout the tour, Bloc Party and Interpol will perform highlights from their careers spanning over twenty years, including classics from Silent Alarm (Bloc Party) and Antics (Interpol) — two albums that celebrate their 20th anniversary this year.
About Bloc Party
From infectious post-punk to bold genre experimentation, Bloc Party’s artistic restlessness has defined them since the early 2000s. Led by the passionate frontman Kele Okereke, their early EPs played a key role in shaping British indie rock.
With their groundbreaking debut album Silent Alarm (2005), where they explored electronic textures, the band established itself as a pioneer. They followed it up with albums and innovative projects such as A Weekend in the City (2007), Intimacy (2008), Four (2011), Hymns (2016), and their most recent release, Alpha Games (2022).
In 2023, Bloc Party released the single Flirting Again, and last year they began a phased rollout of rare tracks, deep cuts, and fan favorites on streaming platforms. Their full catalog is now available, including the single Two More Years (2005) and the Little Thoughts EP.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Silent Alarm, the band headlined Crystal Palace Park in the summer of 2024, performing for more than 25,000 fans. In May this year, Bloc Party received the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection and made history at the Reading and Leeds Festivals as the first band ever to headline the new ‘Icons’ slot.
About Interpol
Formed in New York City in the early 2000s, Interpol quickly became one of the most influential bands of their generation. With their signature dark, atmospheric sound and Paul Banks’ deep vocals, the band ushered in a new era for post-punk.
Their debut album Turn on the Bright Lights (2002) received worldwide acclaim and remains one of the most celebrated albums of the decade. Its follow-up, Antics (2004), cemented their reputation as a leading force in alternative rock.
Over the course of their career, Interpol have released seven studio albums and sold millions of records worldwide. They have performed on legendary stages such as Madison Square Garden in New York, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and Mexico City’s Zócalo. Their influence on alternative music remains profound, and their distinctive blend of post-punk and dark wave continues to inspire generations of fans.
