Beabadoobee
British-Filipino singer-songwriter beabadoobee will perform at AFAS Live on 2 December 2026. The concert is part of The Powerlines Tour, which will see her travel across North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe this autumn. During the tour, she will present her new album Pylon, set for release on 18 September via Dirty Hit and Interscope Records. Special guest for the Amsterdam show is Violet Grohl.
With Pylon, beabadoobee delivers the highly anticipated follow-up to her UK number-one album This Is How Tomorrow Moves (2024). Her fourth studio album takes its title from the electricity pylons that line highways and railway tracks around the world. For Beatrice Laus, these familiar silhouettes became a symbol of connection to friends and family during long periods of isolation while touring.
The album showcases a more powerful and direct sound than her previous work. Drawing inspiration from grunge, Midwest emo, and 1990s alternative rock, the fourteen tracks stem from personal diary entries and unspoken emotions. The first single, Sun Has Set, was released today and offers a first glimpse into the world of Pylon.
For the album, beabadoobee collaborated with a range of artists from the alternative rock scene. Hayley Williams (Paramore) features on Nothing to Prove, Brendan Yates (Turnstile) appears on Powerlines, and guest contributions also come from Chino Moreno (Deftones), Evan Stephens Hall (Pinegrove), and Shane Moran (Title Fight). On Write Me A Letter, Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975 are credited as producers.
The Powerlines Tour will take beabadoobee to arenas and major concert venues across North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
