Four years ago, Tame Impala took the stage at AFAS Live with their Slow Rush 2022 V.2 Clinical Trials Tour, with Perfume Genius as the opening act. With their psychedelic sound and striking visuals, Tame Impala had the whole crowd captivated. Four years later, we’re looking back at this show!

A gigantic screen, ten laser lights, a disco staircase, two confetti cannons, beams of light in every color of the rainbow and – what’s that?! – a colossal spaceship hovering ominously above the stage. Yes, Kevin Parker is in the Netherlands. And no, he didn’t come alone. When he walks onto the AFAS Live stage on Monday night – for the first show in a run of three – a whole arsenal of visual spectacle is waiting for him, ready for that one command.
