The announcement of the European tour comes during a milestone year for sombr. The rising artist has been charting for 13 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 with two self-written singles: “back to friends” and “undressed”, both released via Warner Records.
Since its release in December 2024, “back to friends” has been streamed over 460 million times globally, reaching #9 on Billboard’s Hot Rock chart and #12 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. “undressed” is quickly catching up, with over 300 million streams and a peak position of #5 on the UK Official Trending Chart.
Earlier this spring, sombr already made his mark in the Netherlands — first as a support act for Nessa Barrett, and later with a sold-out headline show at Tolhuistuin.
About sombr
Born and raised in New York, sombr — real name Shane Boose — began making music in his bedroom while studying classical voice at LaGuardia High School. He broke through in 2022 with his single “Caroline”, and has since become a notable presence in the alternative pop scene.
