On Friday 26 February, British rock duo Royal Blood return to Amsterdam for a show at AFAS Live. The announcement comes ahead of the release of their fifth studio album, Dead Company, out on 6 November. Tickets go on sale on Friday 16 October at 10:00 AM via mojo.nl/royalblood.

Dead Company marks a powerful new chapter for the duo, who last released an album in 2023. After spending some time out of the spotlight, Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher headed into the studio in 2025 with no deadline, no distractions and one simple ambition: to discover what was possible with two people, twelve notes and infinite outcomes.

Royal Blood produced the album themselves, aiming to make a record that was as raw, human and captivating as possible. Dead Company strips everything back to the essentials. Direct and uncompromising, it showcases Royal Blood at their most powerful. The band adds: “After putting the Royal Blood engine into neutral for a couple of years, we’ve started building up the revs again. On this album, we’re playing faster and harder than ever. It was written and recorded with the stage in mind. We can’t wait to play it live over the coming years.”

The first track unveiled from the new record, Ten Over Ten, is a menacing, monolithic single that brings desert rock and Motörhead together. Its lyrics and atmosphere were inspired by the frontman’s marathon training, revolving entirely around endurance and pushing yourself to the limit. Dead Company is a bold ten-track album. With this release, Royal Blood return louder, sharper and more urgent than ever.

Since their breakthrough twelve years ago, with one of the fastest-selling rock debut albums of the century, Royal Blood have made a huge impact. All four of their albums reached number one in the UK, collectively selling more than one million records. They have grown into a formidable live act and one of the leading forces behind the guitar rock revival we are witnessing today.
