One Ok Rock

ONE OK ROCK began in 2005 as a group of young musicians trying to find their place in the Japanese music scene. Two years later, they made their official debut, performing in small clubs and at summer festivals. It didn’t take long before they started gaining attention, eventually playing at the legendary Nippon Budokan. This was followed by larger venues, stadium shows, and ultimately sold-out dome concerts across Japan.

The newly announced tour dates support the recent release of ONE OK ROCK’s latest album, DETOX, which is now available everywhere. The album features contributions from several renowned producers, including multiple GRAMMY® winner Rob Cavallo and GRAMMY® nominees Dan Lancaster and Pete Nappi. DETOX is the band’s 11th studio album and marks their 20th anniversary.

Formed in Tokyo in 2005, ONE OK ROCK consists of Taka (vocals), Toru (guitar), Tomoya (drums), and Ryota (bass). The band has grown into a global phenomenon and is one of Japan’s biggest musical exports. They’ve achieved numerous international gold and platinum certifications and racked up billions of streams. Their sound—a blend of emo, alternative rock, and pop—has resonated with audiences far beyond Japan. A major international record deal opened the door to global recognition, and with extensive tours across the United States, Europe, and Asia, their reputation only continued to grow.

Their most recent studio album, Luxury Disease, produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance), debuted at #1 in Japan, making it their fourth consecutive #1 album, following the hit successes 35xxxv, AMBITIONS, and EYE OF THE STORM. Luxury Disease includes the singles “Save Yourself,” “Let Me Let You Go,” and “Vandalize,” the latter of which was featured as the ending theme for SEGA’s Sonic Frontiers.
