About Lil Baby
Hailing from Atlanta, Lil Baby broke through in 2018 with his debut album Harder Than Hard, which entered the Billboard 200 at number 3. His popularity skyrocketed when he scored his first Hot 100 top 10 hit with Yes Indeed, a collaboration with Drake. He also teamed up with Gunna on their joint project Drip Harder, which featured the hit Drip Too Hard and debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200.
In 2020, Lil Baby reached a new career high with the release of My Turn, featuring artists like Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, and Rylo Rodriguez. The album became his first number 1 on the Billboard 200 and was the best-selling album of the year, surpassing even pop icon Taylor Swift. My Turn went 7x Platinum, spent five weeks at number 1, and included multiple hits—most notably The Bigger Picture, a powerful protest anthem written in the wake of George Floyd’s death. The song earned Grammy nominations for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.
In 2021, Lil Baby released The Voice of the Heroes with Lil Durk, landing his second number 1 album. That same year, he won his first Grammy for his feature on Kanye West’s Hurricane, which took home Best Melodic Rap Performance.
Lil Baby followed up with two more chart-topping albums: It’s Only Me (2022) and WHAM (2024), giving him four consecutive number 1 albums on the Billboard 200. He now belongs to an elite group of six artists—alongside Drake, Taylor Swift, Future, Lil Wayne, and Ye—with 150 entries on the Hot 100. Over the course of his career, Lil Baby has sold 30 million albums, earned 47 RIAA-certified Platinum records, 45 Gold records, and amassed over 75 billion global streams.
In 2024, My Turn was honored as the greatest rap album of the 21st century and the 8th best album across all genres in celebration of its five-year anniversary.
Beyond the music, Lil Baby is also a savvy businessman. He runs his own label, Glass Window Entertainment, home to rising star Rylo Rodriguez. With sharp instincts for hits, impactful lyrics, and a strong sense of leadership, Lil Baby has cemented his place as the defining voice of a new generation.
He is currently working on his next album, Dominique.
