The Northern Irish rap group Kneecap will give their biggest solo show in the Netherlands to date on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at AFAS Live. This announcement follows their impressive performance last weekend at Best Kept Secret, where the trio was promoted at the last minute to the main stage. The AFAS Live show is a natural next step after their two already sold-out concerts at Paradiso on September 5 and 6. Presale starts on Friday, June 20 at 10:00 AM via www.kneecaplive.

Best Kept Secret
For many visitors and critics at Best Kept Secret, Kneecap was the highlight of the festival. Shortly before their set, the trio was moved from stage TWO to the main stage ONE. There, they delivered an energetic and captivating performance, reportedly featuring the biggest moshpit in the festival’s thirteen-year history. It was their first European festival show on a main stage, and the crowd went wild to their sharp raps and driving beats.

From Belfast to the world
The AFAS Live show marks a new milestone in Kneecap’s rapid rise. They previously sold out most of their American tour and will soon perform at Glastonbury on Saturday, June 28. Earlier this year, they also sold out a full UK tour. Wherever Kneecap goes, electricity fills the air — and moshpits fill the floor.

Fine Art & film
Kneecap was formed in 2017. Their debut album Fine Art (2024) marked their international breakthrough. On this mostly Irish-language concept album, Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara, and DJ Próvaí take listeners on nocturnal adventures full of humor, social critique, and self-mockery. Guests on the album include Radie Peat (Lankum), Grian Chatten (Fontaines D.C.), and Annie Mac (BBC). The accompanying feature film Kneecap, in which they play themselves, received worldwide acclaim. Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh called the film “fucking phenomenal,” The New York Times described it as “gleefully chaotic,” and The Hollywood Reporter compared it to 8 Mile and A Hard Day’s Night.
