Halestorm
Halestorm, formed in 1997 as a hobby project by lead vocalist Lzzy Hale and her brother, drummer Arejay, has now accumulated seven billion streams and a live reputation that speaks for itself. Together with guitarist Joe Hottinger and bassist Josh Smith, the Hale siblings have been performing almost non-stop and gained worldwide fame, including winning a Grammy in 2013 for the song 'Love Bites (So Do I)'. It was the first Grammy ever awarded in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category to a band with a female lead singer. The formidable Lzzy Hale has a voice that sounds just as strong and powerful live as it does on record. In the past, the versatile and popular rock quartet has toured with giants like Shinedown, Evanescence, and Alice Cooper. In the Netherlands, they were special guests for Alter Bridge at the Ziggo Dome a few years ago and shared the stage with Ghost. Now, like in 2019, it's time for them to shine on their own at AFAS Live.
