Kick-off / Meeting
N-Sign developed and produced a kick-off meeting for Sogeti staff in what was then the Heineken Musical Hall. The theme, ‘Around the table’, came through in all aspects of this live experience. The focus of Sogeti’s annual kick-off meeting are the company’s employees, nicknamed ‘Sogetistas’. ‘Sogeti is an IT services provider. The majority of our employees work at our clients’ premises on a daily basis,’ explains De Jong. ‘This annual get-together is the only opportunity for all of our employees to see each other, so it’s extremely important.’
Sogeti Café is a format that allows Sogetistas to share successes, exchange ideas and talk about their work, private lives, hobbies and anything else that’s on their minds – as well as enjoy snacks and drinks. For one night only, Sogeti Café was the biggest café in the Netherlands, with 1,500 guests.

The Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam (as it used to be called) was a familiar venue for Sogeti. ‘We’ve been working with this venue for many years, so the staff know exactly what we want. The great thing about this venue is that it’s very central, easy to get to and there’s plenty of parking.’
The aspects we enjoyed most were the informal setting and the layout of the space. This created a cosy atmosphere. The catering was great and the logistical side of things went very smoothly. Everyone was very positive about the day. The attendees thought the setting was very nice and the way things were presented went down well: lots of short blocks with different speakers and interviews in various places around the room meant the programme was anything but dull.
