The 3FM Awards are the annual pop music prizes for the best Dutch acts and artists, chosen by the public. The winners included Chef’Special, Bløf, Kensington, Martin Garrix, Naaz, Ronnie Flex and Rondé.
The awards were handed out by famous faces including Art Rooijakkers, Jesse Klaver and Olcay Gulsen. The show was presented by Jan Versteegh and Angelique Houtveen and broadcast live on NPO3 – as well as, of course, on 3FM.
Maximiliane Hunfeld on working with AFAS Live
The 3FM Awards were held at AFAS Live for the first time in 2018. The great thing about an event at AFAS Live is that all members of staff contribute ideas and every one of them is helpful, friendly and flexible – not just during the preparations, but also throughout our time at the venue, such as when setting up, during the show and when packing up. The operations managers were always available and able to resolve problems on the spot. The reception staff and security guards made suggestions as well.
