CNV meeting
The National Federation of Christian Trade Unions in the Netherlands (CNV) meeting was a chance for the education sector to engage in dialogue with Minister Slob about the situation in primary education. The purpose of the meeting was to have a substantive discussion, in which participants (teachers, support staff, school leaders and school board members) could ask the new minister questions. The reason for the meeting was the situation in primary education, where too little money is available to tackle a rising teacher shortage, high workloads and low salaries. The Front for Primary Education (PO-Front) is an organisation made up of various parties involved in education, including teachers, unions and employers.
